Awesome Games Done Quick, or AGDQ, is an annual charity event that generally happens in the winter, and it's based around a niche hobby called speedrunning. Today, Games Done Quick announced that its founder, Mike Uyama, will be departing from the organization. “While the move to online will allow us to save some on expenses, we still have considerable costs to recover,” GDQ continues on Twitter. Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) 2022 runs from June 26th through early in the morning of July 3rd. 2019s Summer Games Done Quick will be taking place between 23rd and 30th June, following in the footsteps of the most recent event which took place this.
